EA KC is a Kansas City community for everyone who's interested in Effective Altruism, or just wants to learn more about it! We meet to discuss philosophy, enjoy each other's company, and generally learn more about how to actually make a difference in the world. We also maintain an active Discord group and occasionally host Rationalist events like the Secular Solstice and Petrov Day celebrations, and the ACX meetups.
Please don't feel like you can't join us because you think you aren't a "typical" Rationalist or EA, or that you aren't "smart enough", or that you will be awkward or weird or anything like that. All are welcome and we want you here!
